Saving an appointment

I have an existing calendar. Upgraded to windows 7 and now when I try and
add an appointment, it will not save and gives me a "did not implement"
message?

What version of Outlook? I'd start with resetting the view (close outlook,
in the start search field, type outlook.exe /cleanviews).
