Hi

I have an Outlook 2007 add-in developed in Visual Studio 2008 and deployed
with ClickOnce. It is not deployed to the IIS it´s deployed to a network
share.

The Add-in works fine on to XP machines but we have another completly new XP
machine with SP 3 and all the new downloads from Windows Update. The Add-in
does not load and when i look at it in the COM Add.ins manager the error
message is "A runtime error occured during the loading of the COM add-in".

On the two machines that the add-in works i have installed another Outlook
2007 with VS2005 for another project if that have something to do with it.

The target framework for the add-in is .NET 3.5

Does anybody now where to start? I have looked in the Outlook logs an they
don´t say anything.

First place to start is to see if the problem machines have the requirements
such as the correct Framework and all prerequisites such as the appropriate
Office PIA's, Extensibility.dll, stdole.dll, etc.

After that if you still need troubleshooting the best approach is probably
to enable Fusion logging. Look at the troubleshooting procedures at
