Runtime error appears when trying to print on a network printer

When I try to print from any program a run time error appears. It says the
program error is from whatever program I am trying to print from. Then it
says abnormal proram termination. This does not occur when printing to a
local printer. Does anyone know whats wrong or how to fix this.
