Run-time error '50290': Method 'Run' of object_ application' faile

I am getting an error when my file created in Office 2007 is saved and used
as an Office 97-2003 file in Office 2003. The file works just fine when saved
as a macro enabled 2007 file in Office 2007 or when used as a 97-2003 file in
compatability mode in Office 2007. I find that only when the file is
minimized the error occurs but I need to minimize it because the report is
quite long. Thanks in advance!
