I send an e-mail message out with a picture "inserted"
into the body and it arrives at the other end with no
problem.

When I create a "template" and insert a picture then
setup a rule using rules wizard to send this template out
when a message arrives it works, however, the picture is
removed.

Ideas ?

Thanks.

I suspect the issue has to do with the message format. Have you tested with
all 3 formats?
