rs-232 communications via HyperTerminal questions

I have alot of rs-232 devices to program and I was
wondering if anyone know how to automate the steps i
currently have to type. IE. Config <cr>, 5<cr>, Y<cr>
since I'm doing so many of the exact same steps any
script or batch that could be run would be a huge time
savings. Can this be done in HyperTerminal? Thanks, Brad
