My computer reboots every couple of minutes atating that a
remote procedure call has instructed it to do so.
What's this all about and how can I fix it?

Install:

As soon as you can!

Get a firewall! You NEED one. There are several free ones, including
ZoneAlarm ( www.zonealarm.com ) and Sygate ( www.sygate.com )

Then go to WindowsUpdate to pick up the latest updates:
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com
