Hi,

I just updated my officexp administrative installation point with sp3, then
I heard there are many bugs in it, want to hold it for now and like to have
my installation point rolling back to sp2, is that possible?

Thanks,
Sarah

Sarah,

You will have to delete the install point and recreate it. This will also
require that the software assignment is removed in GP, and the software
removed from the PCs. You can then redeploy.

In the future, I would recommend testing in a lab before deploying a service
pack.

Thank you Brian, I will recreate it. It wasn't too bad since I was doing the
test in lab, just wondering if there is any way to roll it back as it takes
a while to recreate the point.

You could always make a backup of the folder before patching it, or restore
from tape, and then hit redeploy in the GP.
