When attempting to add an OEM driver to my current ris
image I get the following error msg: The operating system
image you selected does not contain the necessary drivers
for your network adapter....

On the event viewer of the RIS server I get a 1101 error
for the BINLSVC service stating: An error ocured during
parsing of an inf file in the given selection.

I followed Technet articles 246184 and 254078 but I still
get the above error msg.

Any further guidence would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like you may not be using the correct drivers for your nic. Make
sure your RIS server is SP3 or higher.

Error Message: The Operating System Image You Selected Does Not Contain the
Necessary Drivers for Your Network Adapter. Try Selecting a Different
Operating System Image. If the Problem Persists, Contact Your System
Administrator.

This one also covers a "gotcha":

During RIS Installation You Receive a "The Operating System Image You
Selected Does Not Contain the Necessary Drivers for Your Network Adapter"
Error Message Even Though the Drivers Are In the Selected Image

Hi Rich,

Make sure all of your network drivers are in the root of the I386 directory
and that you have applied the ntldr hotfix from 315074, than reboot the RIS
Server and test.

Thank you!
