If I have my cursor resting on a potential link, the computer assumes that I
right-clicked it. I don't like this setting at all. Is there any way to
turn it off?

In what program? IE?
On a desktop or laptop?
Could be a mouse or touchpad setting?
Or an Ease of Access setting? Make the mouse easier to use - switch between
windows-activate by hovering ?
