I hope someone can help me please. I have made a backup of my My Documents
and Settings from Windows XP, saved it on my external drive while I
installed a new internal hard drive. How do I restore this backup?

How did you create the backup? For example did you use the Files and
Settings Transfer Wizard or the Backup program in System Tools? Or did you
use a third party app?
