Restore Problem

When I try to restore the computer using the Recovery
Media from the manufacturer, the computer loads both
discs. Upon restart, the computer loads to the Windows XP
screen and then turns itself off. It is an Emachine and
the Recovery media uses Norton's Ghost.

Any ideas on what is the problem?
