Hi

I am trying to find out a way to keep the image size while changing the page
size. The PPT I have is made based on 10x7.5 inches. But I need to change it
into 22x7.4 inches. The problem is ,when I change the page size into 22x7.4,
all the images located in the PPT are also changed. Namely, it looks being
stretched 3 times wider. The number of slides is about 500, and there are a
lot of images.

Please, help me figure it out.

No easy answers I'm afraid :-( 2 ways I would consider approaching this:

Method 1
2003: Double click the picture -> size -> untick 'lock aspect ratio' ->
reset -> preview -> retick 'lock aspect ratio' -> ok. You could record a
macro & then run it on all the pics but you need to click 'ok' instead of
'preview' then double click again -> size -> tick 'lock aspect ratio' -> ok.

2007: Select the pics -> picture tools -> format -> click
the little square with arrow thing under size section -> untick 'lock aspect
ratio' and click 'reset'. Unfortunately you can't record macros in 2007.

Method 2
Create your new sized presentation then use the photo album feature to
bring the picture in from the original source. 2007 brings in the actual
pictures (unlike 2003 which used to make them fill for autoshapes which was
a royal pita).

Which approach I would use very much depends on the presentation & contents
but hopefully I've given you a starting point.

Thank you so much for your advice. It is helping me a lot.
It would be great if you give one more advice.
I recorded the macro to do that. So, I am wondering if there is a code to
add my macro in order to apply all images.

Hi

I'm afraid I don't know about applying the macro to all images - I'm not a
VBA person but hopefully one will be along to tell you if it's possible.
Post your code and they may be able to help you tweak it.
