I recently upgraded from FP 2002 to 2003 and I am distraught to see that
using the "auto thumbnail" and "resample" features in FP 2003 make the images
VERY blurry compared to FP 2002. Please help! I use theses features
constantly! I don't know of any universal quality settings for resampling
and auto thumbnail, but perhaps there is some other way? BTW, after using
either function, the "picture file type" settings say that the image is JPEG
at 90% with no progressive passes. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Use a real image editor to resize, optimize, edit your images...FP ain't very good for that.

It is my opinion that FrontPage should not be thought of or used as an
image editor. Even though the program has various options for inserting
images, it is best that you not use them. When you click on this first
thumbnail you'll see that you could choose to insert an image from a file
outside of FrontPage or from a scanner or digital camera.
