How can I get my computer back to a time when I never
intalled my printer??? I already tried the uninstall
program that the printer came with but there are is still
printer programs on my machine. I am running Windows XP
and I just want to get back to a time when I didn't have
my Lexmark 5150 installed because it has caused me
nothing but problems.

Thanks
Sue B.

SUE,
CLICK START, ALL PROGRAMS, ACCESSORIES, SYSTEM TOOLS,
SYSTEM RESTORE. CHOOSE A DATE WHEN YOUR PRINTER WAS NOT
INSTALLED AND CLICK OK. BACKUP ALL IMPORTANT FILES, AND
WRITE DOWN ANY SETTINGS THAT MAY HAVE CHANGED SINCE THEN,
ISP SETTINGS,EMAIL, ETC.

Great idea but my back up restore doesn't go back far
enough for me to do that. I wish it was that simple.
Thanks

Follow Bruce Sanderson's instructions at
http://members.shaw.ca/bsanders/CleanPrinterDrivers.htm

paying particular attention to his section on Lexmark printers.
