Is it possible to rename a folder in the Program Files folder? Or do
I have to uninstall the application and reinstall it to the new
folder?

Thank you for any info.

If the folder is not currently in use by any application or process
and you have the correct authority to the folder and its parent, you
can probably change the folder name. But this is the wrong question.

There is no reason to expect the program that uses this folder to work
after you do so. Un- and re-install is a much safer plan. If the
program keeps user data in its own data folders elsewhere, you might
want to back those up first just in case uninstall wants to delete
those files as part of its housekeeping. Be sure to also re-apply any
program updates that were applied after the original installation.
