Everytime I change my user name under Tools/Options/User Information, I get a
new "name" and "color" as a reviewer under the Track Changes toolbar, using
Show/Reviewers. Also, I compared 2 documents, and now have a reviewer named
"comparison" under the same toolbar. How can I delete or reset the
authors/reviewers?

Question, why do you keep changing your name in User Information?
Married/divorced/married, etc. ;-)
Depending on the version of Word you are using, whcih you dont mention, try
the following.
Tools, Options, Track Changes, change the settings from "By author" to Auto,
or pick a colour.
The author information will remain but hidden until the changes have been
Accepted or Rejected.
Hope this helps
