established access with ms security feature. it is now in
a remote site that requires replication. the user can see
and open access file; however, when going to the first
form for data entry gets "error executing this command".
is this a security issue or not. if so, how do i remove
the security from access. i have only set security and
have not had to remove it.

Probably not, but it's mighty hard to tell with so little information.
You'll need to investigate this problem further by stepping through the code
in the debugger.

If this is using Access replication, then I hope you like to travel.
