Remove null value categories from graph

Hi,

I am preparing a dashborad on a daily basis by putting the sales data. X
axis will be the date and Y axis will have the sales value for the particular
date. some of the dates there won't be any sales,ie. zero value.while drawing
graph i will select the entire range, so all the dates will be appearing on X
axis even if the value null. could anyone help me on this to remove the zero
value dates from the X-axis ?
