How to remove "multiple day" messages in PDA after sync.

After synchronising my PDA with the outlook calender.
I get an extra line with "multiple day event".
The screen is not that big and those lines ( I work nights) use up a lot of
space.

So how can I remove that extra unwanted line?

Do both devices have the same time zone set?
