I notice that this NewsGroup and also the MicroSoft Knowledge Base have
lots of detail on how to ADD to the Send To Menu.
I would like to REMOVE drive items.

I am running Windows XP Prof with SP1. By default, I have items in the
Send-To folder for every removeable drive connected to the system.

Does anyone know how to turn this behaviour off?

I can't find it in TweakUI or anywhere else!

Thanks,

On the Send To thing.. Same idea as adding to it, but using the DELETE key
instead of the INSERT. heh

In other words..

Start -> Run
Type in:

"SendTo"

(with or without the quotes..)

Anything in there you don't want, delete it.
Anything not in there you want - create a shortcut to it there.

Removable drives are auto added/removed from the list.

Sorry, you are mistaken. On WinXP these items do not exist in the SendTo
folder. They are generated onto the Send To menu in some other way.
Presumably this CAN be turned off. But a simple DELETE will not do the
trick, because the element you would delete is NOT THERE!!!!!

Did you ever find a way to remove the drives? I'd like to do the same thing
and can't find any way to do it!
