ok... i cannot accept or send remote access.
This is what i get
Your invitation was not sent. Remote Assistance needs the
latest version of Windows Messenger installed in order to
work correctly on MSN Messenger 6.0. Please go to the
Windows Messenger update site to install the latest
version.
I am running the latest version of 6.0.0268
I have disabled firewalls and virus scan... just to try
it. i went and into remote options.... its all enabled.
I am stumped.. what am i missing ?

Hi Jay,

Remote Assistance and Windows Messenger are linked together. When Windows XP was released,
MSN Messenger and Windows Messenger were the same products, which is why we're now seeing
this.

It will start up with Outlook, unless you turn off the Windows Messenger integration in
Outlook. To do so, for Outlook (XP/2002), just open Outlook, click the Tools menu, then
Options, then the Other tab, and uncheck 'Enable Instant Messaging in Microsoft Outlook'.
For Outlook Express, close Outlook Express, and run this .reg file:
