's Computer Specifications

Hi
Trying to get remote desktop working...both computers are
XP Pro
remote is on earthlink....not a business so is VPN
required or can I skip this?

VPN is not requires for RD. It just makes thngs a little easier when
going thru routers or have more then one machine to connect to.
