I installed XP Pro last weekend and have been trying to
get Remote Desktop to work from another PC. It is
installed on my home computer which I want to access from
a laptop. Remote Desktop Connection Client is installed
on my laptop and I think I've done everything that MS has
on it's web site about RD...to no avail. I even disabled
the XP firewall.

Anyone have any suggestions??

What error message(s) and symptoms do you get? Is this over a LAN or over the public internet? If
over the public internet are there any firewall/NAT/router devices involved? Are you using the
correct address when calling?
