Remote Desktop - Audio Device set to "No Audio Device"

This is my workaround; this wasted a LOT of my time before
i figured this out...

I am using remote desktop connection but choosing to leave
the audio at the remote computer. My audio device is
SoundMax on a Dell Dimension 4600.

If I first log into the machine locally, then initiate a
remote desktop connection from my second machine then the
audio device is present.

If I have not logged into the machine locally first i get
the "No Audio Device" problem after using the remote
desktop connection.

Hope that helps someone out!

Best regards,

Mark.

Right... This is a known issue... In the FAQ page at
http://www.remotenetworktechnology.com site, I have an entry that
describes how to Autologon, then Lock the machine... This will help
automate the procedure you describe.
