Hello,

There is a TS server (win2k+SP4), a remote client (XP client) who has an
HP1100 as his default local printer, and a server administrator who has a
network printer HP2200 set by default on his local machine. So this problem
occurs every once in a while when the clients gets the administrator's
HP2200 connected as the default printer in a terminal session in case there
is the administrator's session up too.

So how do pin down the remote client only to his own local printer?

Is the person with the 1100 also an Administrator

These may also help you, but my hunch is that this person has elevated privs on the TS

The 1100 client is not an Administrator, and RDP permissions for him are set
as User Access.
Anyways, thank you for the links, the 317780 article looks like the case
with me... We had a win98 client with hp1100 printer, and could not get the
printer to work correctly, so we set up some local drivers on TS and
redirected the port for the client... That may be causing the problem now...
