I have accidentally set the refresh rate too high and I get a red error message and cannot log on. How can I resolve this problem please.

Start the machine in Windows safe mode (assuming you're using Windows).

Within Win 7 right click desktop/bottom left click on display/top left - Adjust resolution/Advanced settings/Monitor. There you'll find a drop down menu where you set the adjust rate. Flat screen monitors usually work best at 60Hz.

If you have a different Operating System let us know what it is.

I am the dreadful menace. The one whose will is done. The haunting chill upon your neck. I am the Conundrum.
