"You can't carry out this action at the present time"

I spent may hours (and $35) with Microsoft on this issue.
I think it may be a MS bug... but they say no.
Anyway, this eror can occur Anywhere!!
Seems most common in (linked) subforms.

Bsically (as best I can tell from MS), this happens when ACCESS is BUSY
(hung up??? Looping?? stuck accessing a file??). ACCESS is doing
SOMETHING (though God knows what) in the background.

So ACCESS cant do anything else!
ACCESS hangs!
No way out!
Still is 'active' even after "ctrl-alt-del" to get out.

This error is happening to people ALL OVER.
Complain to MicroSoft.
We need a better error message to help track what is the
offending issue.

I still think its an ACCESS bug.... as I can NOT track the error... no
matter how many times it happens.

My "issue" is still OPEN with MicroSoft, although currently Inactive.
