It should appear in your Start menu (the column of big icons in the
left column) until you've opened enough other programs to bump it off
the list; or you can "pin" it to the Start menu, so it's always in the
top few icons. Right-click on its icon in the Start menu, or on its
winword.exe filename in the Office12 folder.
