Running dual monitors? If your mouse is somehow breaking out of the game
screen, clicking on the open space of your other monitor would cause the
game to minimise.

Could be something else. If you tweaked out your oblivion configuration,
you might try deleteing the config file (forget where it is), then when you
run Oblivion it'll re-detect the optimal settings for the game. I usually
have to do this if I switch hardware or upgrade. Oblivion really doesn't
like it when you switch hardware without resetting the configuration.
