Along the same thread: When I start the Media Center, it loads, but
locks up for a few seconds, then tells me that Messenger didn't start
and to make sure that Messenger is installed on my system.
I have an HP computer, so don't have a real XP disk, just the recovery
partition. Do I need to do an add components procedure?
I don't need Messenger for anything else, and even though the part of
Media Center I use seems to work OK (audio and radio), I'd like to get
it up and running a bit faster.
Any ideas would be appreciated...
