Download Directx9 and install that to Vista. It won't overwrite any
DX10 files, just adds a file that is missing that some older games
need. If that doesn't work then maybe you need to install C++ runtime
files. I have Thief3 but don't have it installed. Maybe I will install
it later and see if I get the same error.
