Dear Bob,

Thank you for your post.

Sysprep 1.1 is designed for Windows 2000 systems. So, if you are making
Windows XP deployment images, I would like to suggest that you use the
Sysprep utility included in the Windows XP Service Pack 1 Deployment Tools,
which can be downloaded from:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...&familyid=7a83
123d-507b-4095-9d9d-0a195f7b5f69

Please try the above version and check if the problems have been resolved.

However, if the problems still persist, it indicates that sysprep removes
the related information from the master system. As a solution, you may try
configuring the sysprep.inf file to install the problematic applications
during the mini-setup/OOBE process.

For more information, please refer to the help documents included in the
Deployment Tools package.

If you need more information, please feel free to let me know. It's my
pleasure to help.

Thank you, and have a nice day!

Regards,
Joe Wu

Sorry about the version confusion...we are using the
sysprep from the XP tools. I think it may be an
incompatibility with Ghost v7.0. I will be testing that
today. Thanks!

Dear Bob,

Thank you for your update. Please try the version downloaded from:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...&familyid=7a83
123d-507b-4095-9d9d-0a195f7b5f69

The version is newer than the one shipped in the Windows XP Installation CD.

Thanks, and have a nice day!
