Thanks! The very problem of the corrupted window has a couple of solutions
on the forum. I thank you. Without being able to use the window buttons, I
was letting Spybot run rampant against my other programs. That will soon
stop!

And I hope people are not scared off by the Spanish Windows employed by the
problem-solver. It is harmless! And, further paging down will find that
there is another solution that runs itself, submitted by Murdo.
