Only with the addition of Citrix MetaFrame, using the ICA Protocol. RDP didn't support 16 & 24 bit color depths until 5.1 & 5.2, i.e. Windows XP Pro & Windows Server 2003

Basically you'd have to upgrade your TS & TSCALs to 2003 or install Citrix MetaFrame to get higher color depth

With Windows 2000, can the RDP client have a greater
color depth than 256 color? If so, can someone tell me
how to change the setting
