Your query should look something like...

SELECT Year([TheDate]) AS DateYEAR, Month([TheDate]) AS DateMONTH
FROM YourTable
WHERE (((Year([TheDate]))=[Enter Year ie 2002]) AN
((Month([TheDate]))=[Enter Month Number ie 8 = August]));

Where "TheDate" is your Date column and "YourTable" is the tabl
containing the dates. This query will ask for the year first and the
the Month Number.
