No, but it "Should" work if you had a 64 bit machine and 64 bit Vista,
however you could also install Server 2003 64 as the host and run Vista
32 as a virtual machine. That would seem the more sensible way to go
without paying more money.
Server 2003 is very like XP and for sure can be made useful as a desktop
environment, you just lose a few things not usually wanted on a sever.
Whether your VM Vista would be able to take advantage of Aero and stuff
like that is arguable, and I'd say for sure you need 4GB Ram minimum,
but Aero aside I have found Vista runs reliably under Debian Linux as a
VM except for some games and stuff. (64 Bit Debian and hardware of course).
