Sorry I cannot offer advice, but I've read similar posts from people using
Abit IC7 and IS7 and even read one from a person using an Intel 865PERL who
went into their burn-in mode and did the 4% overclock option. He could not
recover after that. Wierd, very wierd. These newer chipsets have microcode
in them, which is a small bit of code the BIOS can adjust in the NB. I'm
thinking that there's still something buggy in this microode or the way they
are writing to it and it might not clear properly when doing a CMOS reset.
