Thanks for your help but I still couldn't get it to work. My problem was,
as I stated before, the modem wouldn't answer the call. I have no problem
connecting through VPN or RDC, with my PPC connected to the internet prior
to make the VPN or RD connection. I couldn't make the RAS connection
because my modem wouldn't answer the call.
