OK, don't be confused by the ECS CPU compatibility list. The only
processors on that list are the ones that were TESTED. That doesn't mean
that other processors won't work. The fact that your system ran for a
couple of months (apparently without problems) indicates that your
motherboard and CPU are compatible.
So stop wondering about CPU/mainboard compatibility and focus on trying to
solve the problem. There is not enough information in your post to begin to
try to troubleshoot this. What is the system doing or not doing? Do you
get beeps when you turn it on? What lights are lit? Can you hear hard
drives spinning up? Do you get any display on the monitor? We need
details.
OH, and while it's possible that your mainboard and/or CPU could be bad,
that should be WAY down on the bottom of the list of your possible
uspects. -Dave
