Are you using Roaming Profiles? If so and your profile is huge, it can take
some time to download it from the domain controller on login.

No - not at all. This is a home machine running behind a simple
router with a fixed IP. Iwish I could find a bootlog analyzer
for 2K. They exist for win98 and for winxp, but I can't find one
for 2K.
