I'm having no problems with my board at all.
It overclocks fine, and is as stable as can be.
I've always had the best luck with Asus.

Wow, that is so shortsighted and unfortunate for you that I'm at a
loss to comment further.

Skybuck, your raving, now. You've posted some intelligent comments
and questions on this forum, but in your current state of mind, I
deduce that you're probably beyond reasoning with.

Good luck in the overpriced, underperforming, overheating world of
Intel with its high-priced DDR2 RAM.

You'll be back . . . probably shaking your head and muttering, "WHAT
in the world made me think that was a good idea???"

My first reaction to this: "no ****ing way"

The intel motherboards at least support the damn processor.

I am not going to take any chances etc... I am going to play it safe =D

But I might still change my mind but dont bet on it

Bye,
Skybuck.

This and other posts made by you to this newsgroup indicate several
possibilities:

a) You expect this group to do your research for you because you are
unwilling or unable to do a simple Google search
b) You are a troll
c) All your problems can be blamed on what used to be known colloquially
as an "ID dot ten tee" error.

ok, lol you now trolling as well so now my time to troll back at everything
lol.

Listen smartass.

I bought a P3V4X motherboard with a via chipset which was incompatible with
sb live.

Now I have an SB16 and it produces crackling sound.

I once had a girl over and she noticed it... now ofcourse I dont really care
about that... but still... quite embarrasing don't you think hehehehehehehe
lol.

So when I read that these "new" motherboards of asus still don't have decent
audio... and that people have problems with the onboard audio not working...
and other problems with the nforce 4 stuff I say NO THANK YOU.

One bad motherboard is enough for me.

Next time I have a chick over I want to have splended audio lol
hahahahahahaha.

Bye,
Skybuck =D

And why in God's name are you blaming Asus for this? Any other
motherboard with the same chipset would have had the same problem..

Not if you are involved.. your postings seem like the B*S* emitting
from one in a china shop.

Any motherboard with a chipset fan is likely to have problems with
them. Hence the Asus A8N-SLI Premium, which also gets rid of the
potentially troublesome SLI daughter-card.
