| sorry, when i run task manger.
| i see jave(tm) platform se binary. running at 90-95%
| when there is nothing running.
| the cpu usage is shown at running at 100%
| there is something running that is not suppost to.

| so, is there a program that will tell me what java program is running.

I still don't get what you are saying.

Are you saying you see "jave(tm) platform se.exe" running in Task Manager and it using a
high pertentage CPU utilization ?

Download Process Explorer
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/s.../bb896653.aspx

Find the EXE file using the high CPU utilization. Kill the process.
Then submit the EXE to Virus Total --
http://www.virustotal.com/flash/index_en.html
The submission will then be tested against many different AV vendor's scanners.
That will give you an idea what it is and who recognizes it. In addition Virus
Total will provide the sample to all participating vendors.

You can also submit a suspect, one at a time, via the following email URL...
private.php?do=newpm&u=?subject=SCAN

When you get the report, please post back the exact results.

1) Please bottom post for readability.

2) Some Windows users have taken to replacing Microsoft's Task Manager
with one of the Sysinternals utilities from Microsoft. That utility
is Process Explorer and is available at:

<http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896653.aspx>

Download, unzip & run procexp.exe and you'll have a more efficient
report than Task Manager. Consult the "CPU" column when you suspect
your computer is overusing its resources. You may even click and/or
double click on the "CPU" column to sort by CPU usage.

In a follow-up post, please give a brief summary of what the report
tells you.
