I have a new laptop and wish to install my trusty Office XP on it. But
the number I have to install it is hard to read and must be off by one
letter or number because install tells me it is the wrong number.

I still have this Office XP installed on my other PC. Is there a way I
can retrieve the number it is asking for to see which digit or letter I
have wrong?

Jeff

Was able to read it finally. Solved.
Is there a way to get a replacement disk from MS?

See http://support.microsoft.com/kb/326246/en-us/ (How to replace Microsoft software or hardware, order service packs, and replace
