Hey trft - you solved this problem yet ?

I'm having some luck at my end .. my problems turned out to be with my anti
virus vendor - I uninstalled the app and everything (nearly) is working
fine - I can connect my camcorder to my PC now and my internet doesn't drop
out !

One thing to try is to goto Creative's website and see whether the online
ActiveX control detects your card (it now detects mine !) - however I am
still running into a weird error which Microsoft are kindly looking into.

Have a wander by the windowsxp.hardware group and look for the Audigy 2
posting by me - you will see the suggested courses of action to solve the
problem.

Hope it helps.
