Well your scratch rebuild did not require you to install earlier versions
prior to installing the upgrade. All you need to do is install the upgrade,
when it complains about no qualifying version, swap cd with earlier version,
verify it, re swap cd and continue install.
As it is uninstall all Office, clear temp files, reboot PC
Locate any pst files, which are hidden files, move them to Documents folder,
install Office 2007
