Hi Larry,

try to download newest MDAC (2.8) on

(http://msdn.microsoft.com/data/Default.aspx)

and/or latest service pack for the MSJET 4.0 Database Engine:

IF there is any "anomaly" in Jet database engine, it should repair it.


I assume reinstalling of Windows/Office XP might be unuseful. Do it if any
others steps/ideas/hints does not work.


Anyway, reduce the field count, if it is possible. Always try to handle with
less fields as possible.
