Cal Bear's fix is THE one! Worked well. Works for other error numbers
also.

CAL BEAR - FOLLOWED YOUR ADVICE TO GO TO
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/929461 AND IT WORKED TWO DAYS
AGO. I NOW HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM AND WHEN I GO TO START...SEARCH AND TYPE
REGEDIT, IT GOES NOWHERE WHERE BEFORE IT WENT RIGHT WHERE THE 929461
INSTRUCTIONS SAID IT WOULD. HELP......................

When you type regedit.exe into the Start Search box above the Start Orb and
press the Enter key, what happens?
