Greetings SF,
If they've setup MSN Mobile, in MSN Messenger or Windows Messenger 4.7 with the MSN Add-In,
you can simply right-click their contact and choose 'Send a Message to a Mobile Device'.
Otherwise, to simply e-mail their phone, you'll need to know the phones e-mail address prior
or go to the website of their cellular provider and look for a 'Send a Message' option.
All these options are free to you, but they may or may not be free to your friend receiving
them.
