W2K uses the BIOS information to determine the attached floppy drives.

SO: If there is only one drive, make sure that that it is at the end of the
floppy drive cable. If you have two drives, it doesn't matter which is where,
BUT -->

Make sure the settings in BIOS are correct.

That is, the drive closer to the motherboard is the B: drive, and the drive
at the end of the cable is the A: drive. Ensure that the BIOS settings are
for 5-1/4" or 3-1/2" drives in the correct sequence..

After that, there should be no problem at all.
